Which Harry is Your Favorite?

Harry Styles fans tend to separate Harry's life into different eras depending on what he's doing, what hairstyle he's currently sporting, or what fashion trends he's taken a liking to.

Fetus Harry (2010-2012)

Fetus Harry... aka baby Harry was the first Harry we ever saw. This era started out during The X-Factor and ended when One Direction's debut album, "Up All Night" came out. Harry had swoopy, curly hair and wore a mixture between casual clothes off stage and fancy, preppy clothes on stage. The casual clothes consisted of sweatshirts, sweatpants, beanies, scarves, and khakis while the on-stage look consisted a lot of neutral colored suits, blazers, and slacks. Fetus Harry was adorable.

Frat Boy Harry (2013)

Frat boy Harry ditched the preppy look and went for something edgier when he started wearing all black ensembles whether it be an all-black suit or black jeans paired with a black t-shirt. He also wore band tees, flannels, jerseys, backwards baseball caps, grew out his hair, began getting more tattoos and wearing clothes that showcased them, even if it meant going shirtless. This era was the transition between fetus Harry, which was the wholesome sweet looking boy you wanted to take home to your parents to frat boy Harry, the boy who looked like you would find him at a frat party.

Bandana Harry (2014)

Bandana Harry is pretty self-explanatory. This was the era where Harry's hair was getting so long that he needed something in his hair to keep it from falling in his face. You would never see him without a bandana or headband in his hair.

Prince Harry (2014)

Prince Harry was in the same year as bandana Harry, but his hair was just a little bit longer to where it came just to his shoulders. During this era, he brought out the iconic Chelsea boots, half-buttoned up shirts, and fedora hats. Harry began to stray away from plain t-shirts to a style that was more fashion forward by adding jewelry, accessories, and custom-tailored suits to events and galas.

Long Haired Harry (2014-2015)

This era is also very self-explanatory. This is when Harry's hair was the longest it's ever been. At this point in time, One Direction's last album, "Made in the AM" was released. Here, he rocked man buns and braids. As for his style, it just keeps getting better. Year after year, Harry gets more comfortable wearing clothes that many others don't have the courage to wear. This includes many pastel and floral-patterned suits. This is by far one of my favorite eras. An honorable mention is tattoo roulette Harry when he appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden along with his One Direction bandmates.

Dunkirk Harry (2017)

After One Direction officially called it quits, Harry had a two-year gap where he was working on a new album and a new film. This war film that he was in was called Dunkirk where he chopped all of his hair off. Nevertheless, he still looked absolutely stunning.

HS1 Harry (2017)

He is no longer just a member of a popular boy band, but a serious solo recording artist. This era is dedicated to Harry when he released his first solo album, "Harry Styles" hence HS1. Harry wore glamorous custom-made suits to every show on tour. 2017 brought us a new Harry that we fell in love with all over again, and with that came a new wardrobe of any pattern, style, and texture you could think of. We could all tell HS1 Harry was more comfortable in his own skin when we saw him in gender fluid clothes, as he wore everything from glitter, mesh tops with frills, ruffles, and bows, shades of pink and purple, heeled shoes, and bell sleeves and bottoms. Seeing it was like a breath of fresh air. Styles sure has got style. The honorable mentions for HS1 Harry are Sign of the Times Harry and Kiwi Harry from his two music videos on his first album.

Fine Line Harry (2019-2020)

Fine Line Harry is the most present Harry after he released the "Fine Line" album. This era almost comes full circle with fetus Harry because at this point in time, Fine Line Harry is back to being a cute cuddly boy who wears a lot of sweaters with farm animals on them. After going solo and having new management, it's almost as if he's broken free from the shackles of toxic masculinity now that he's embracing fashion that could be deemed as "feminine" from society. Harry loves to wear lace, pearl necklaces, painted nails, high-waisted pants, and cropped sweaters, and his fans love him even more for it. He seems so much happier, and it seems like he's physically glowing in his music videos. He is brilliant in everything he does.

It has been hinted that Harry's next album will be more rock n' roll and all of his fans are so excited to see what he does next. I'm thinking his next era will be ROCKSTAR HARRY!!!
