Singing

In 2010, Harry styles pursued his singing career by auditioning for the X Factor. During the show, he formed a band which was known as One Direction. This band stayed together for six years where they released five albums, four of which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and became one of the most well-known and best-selling boy bands of all time. They continued to win many awards, appeared on many late-night talk shows, embarked on four world tours, and filmed their own documentary. In 2015, the band broke up and Harry Styles pursued his solo career where he writes all of his songs. Later on in 2017, he released his self-titled debut solo album. The Harry Styles album became the world's top-ten best-selling album of the year and premiered at number one in the US, UK, and Australia. From this album came his first headlining tour, Harry Styles: Live on Tour and the film, Harry Styles: Behind the Album. In 2019, Styles released his second album, Fine Line. Fine Line made the top of the US Billboard 200 with the largest first-week sales by an English male artist in history. He was also grouped among Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." Throughout his solo career, Harry Styles has accumulated many awards which include American Music Awards, ARIA, Billboard, Brit Awards, People's Choice, Teen Choice, and iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Acting

Harry Styles made his acting debut in 2017 where he played a role in the film Dunkirk. He was casted as Alex, a World War II British soldier caught in the midst of a battle and stranded in the port town of Dunkirk, France. This war film is a true story following about 400,000 British and French soldiers with the goal of evacuating Dunkirk by boat after being trapped by Nazi Germany. In a Vanity Fair interview, Harry Styles says “I started acting when I was younger in school. I’ve always liked it, and have always been a massive fan of movies... When I heard about this, I just wanted to be involved. It’s an honor to be a part of this important story.” I guess you could say the answer to the question that's on everyone's mind, "Why did Harry Styles start acting?" is simply because he felt like taking that leap. He wanted to see if he was capable of being as great of an actor as he is being a singer. Although it was difficult to see his potential in Dunkirk since he didn't have a large role or many lines considering it was a war film, the world will get to see his potential acting abilities on screen when his new film Don't Worry Darling premiers. This movie does not have a release date yet, but it is projected to come out at the end of 2021. Harry Styles landed the male lead with Florence Pugh as the female lead. These two actors play husband and wife in a psychological thriller set in the 1950s in a utopian community in California. Florence Pugh will play an unhappy housewife who begins to question everything in her life when she starts noticing strange things happening in her town. Meanwhile, Harry Styles will play a picture-perfect husband who is hiding a dark secret from his wife. As far as the future, I believe that these two movies are just the beginning of Harry Styles' acting career. He seems to be enjoying his times on set.

Modeling

When Harry isn't working to further his acting or singing career, he is modeling. Harry Styles has been featured on the front cover of Vogue, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and GQ. He has also been seen in Another Man magazine, The Guardian Weekend magazine, and Beauty Papers which is a biannual magazine based in London. Harry has also landed the Gucci autumn/winter 2018 campaign along with the Gucci Cruise 2019 Men's Tailoring Campaign.
